    Ask a lawyer.

Your specific rights, and their specific rights vary from state to state.

You might be able to send them to collections for the 2000$, adding whatever the maximum interest allowed for your state is, and the lawyer fees (if permitted; the lawyer you hire to do this will know).

You might be able to file additional civil suits for copyright infringement, or your state might have a per-quantum law for itemizing work-for-hire that permits them some rights to some of the things you made for them, simply because they paid some monies/time/interest.

The person who will know is a lawyer in your state; in your municipality.

This is stupid. Why not add up the death toll for the war on drugs over the past 70 years? Anyone dying of an overdose might have been able to live had the drugs been legal and dosage/potency closely monitored, or people would be able to buy needles instead of sharing them and spreading diseases.

Or, all the gun deaths by not making them illegal are on the heads of politicians. All the drunk driving deaths are because we haven't outlawed alcohol. Hell, all the car related deaths are because we don't have better public transportation systems to free up the roadways and make them safer.

For health care or not, this is a very weak argument and doesn't really help your case at all. Further, it's just hopping on the Alan Grayson bandwagon.

I had a boss who looked exactly like Dustin Hoffman. Within my first 10 minutes of meeting him he looked at me and sad "Wow, a blond guy like you must get a lot of pussy around here". Then he proceeded to tell his assistant that I had "a huge cock". Soon after some guy from Congo came in and he started talking about Chinese girls with jungle fever.

After I'd known him for half an hour I knew something was horrible wrong there.

My friends met the kings of crazy though, they ran a TEFL school in Beijing and a lot of the people who came were just insane. On guy told them he left for China because it would be "a lot cheaper to live there than having to pay child support in the US". People at home don't really believe all the stories I tell them about the crazies.

I wish I remembered all of the ins and outs of that nonsense a bit better, I might have a rebuttal if I did.

I'd ask for sources for this, but I don't really want to sift through them. No point in hashing this out any further I don't think as our opinions will likely remain as they are. And that is fine.

Besides, sport is much better when you've villianized someone so you have someone to root against.

For me it was always Schumacher and then later Massa. Of course these days, I am grudgingly in awe of how dominant Schumacher was... I hated him at the time for making the sport so boring but now...I dunno.

Question is who did she take the pictures for? Was she seeing someone? Did she post them herself? Send them herself? Boyfriend post them? Odds are if they are on a forum they are all over the place so they won't be coming of the net...ever. It's just not possible...look at that family that has to deal with their dead daughter's pictures from a car accident all over the place. You could bring it up to your sister, but I think if you tell her that you saw her naked pictures it could freak her completely out. People taking self pics, naked pics, sexy pics is pretty much normal..for some it is a matter of having control of an aspect of their lives, for some it is that they like to show off, other are turned on, and other believe they can have a different persona online compared to real life. I would let it slide -- especially if it was only one picture.

You make this comment "I think it is very, very unhealthy for her to pander to these Internet perverts" , but you were on the site...so do you think you are evil for looking at that kind of stuff online? Most people that look at that stuff are bot freak or perverts - they are just bored guys with nothing better to do.

And you are not to blame, the issue is the population. Everyone would like to work, but at the same time they also need to get paid well enough to support their family, bills, etc.

With as many people as there are now, it is very easy to replace and find new people willing to work for less than what you are paying your current employees. However this leads to a downward spiral in wages causing more unemployment and poverty. Because even if they hire you, without a union, they could probably find an illegal immigrant willing to do it for $1/hour. Putting you out of a job, more money in the corporation and the immigrant making that money would still have to barely scrape by...

It makes the gap between the rich and poor that much greater each time this occurs.

A sexual desire is natural. A sexual desire to things which aren't of sexual maturity is not.

I guess if there was only one photo of one child in existence for the rest of eternity for pedo's to get off with and it prevented them from acting out on children, great. The truth is users foster a demand for more content, which is the exploitation of children.

This is speculation: What percentage of pedophiles actually commit an act? I would guess a very small amount. Is this because of CP? Maybe, but I'd venture that there is a distinction between one who views and one who rapes, with CP not being a big factor either way. CP is still something we don't want in our society because it exploits children.

This issue is being thrown at the american people. Lets take a step back and examine the situation, the system as it is has flaws, but it works. Why should more money, and the power over our health, go to this corrupt government?

I understand that in a perfect world this public option would be great. Do we live in that perfect world? Nope, just look at Pelosi's face. In reality all this is doing is eliminating the middle class. This creates a bigger pool of people reliable on the government. The "health care reform" is merely the chance for our government to reach farther and farther into our lives. People continue to tout the UK, but those people are hopeless. Do you really want to live a life in a "nanny state"? Is a life without human dignity really what you want?

Call me crazy, but a kick in the pants to work out of poverty is usually a good thing. Basic medical coverage is provided through our government through Medicaid for those unable to currently pay, and I'm fine with that. Why are these numbers continually thrown out about people unable to pay when the govt already has a program? They are simply touting the fact that they cannot do an effective job, meaning that having a public option will end up the same way, just in a different form. Hope you guys like waiting lists, cause that's exactly what we're gonna get, sort of a MD DMV.

35% of American GDP is already spent on welfare programs, and this is outrageous. People need to work and earn their living and stop sitting on the front stair of their government owned house waiting for their welfare check.

No public option does not mean the end of the world. Is it flawed? Yes. Is it broke? Nope, then don't fix it.

How does this cover poor / rich communities?

    2 Examples:

    1) a poor neighborhood in the coal mining section of west Virginia. (One of the poorest areas of the country)

    2) Some place like Bevery Hills with mostly rich people.

Where do communities begin and end?

Most areas dont really have cohesive "neighborhoods" or communities anymore. They are just people living in the same area. They dont identify with neighbors. Maybe the ones next door but possibly not the ones on the next block over.

Also Im looking to get a new place downtown and the neighborhoods change block to block and in some cases extremely rich to extremely poor.

How does this account for selfish people?

Looks like Obama plans to move to Hardin, MT all those terror suspects bush has been torturing in the former Eastern-bloc nations and in ghost ships overseas to circumvent US law, and the CIA has been scouting out the security of the location using a front company "American Police Force".

With all the attention they've been receiving, I wouldn't be surprised if the CIA just gives up on that location, with the company American Police Force disappearing as mysteriously as they came, and just rents one big cruise ship, parked in international waters, to do all their "enhanced interrogations".

Look. Think about it. You two live in the same house. It wouldn't be impossible for you to accidentally see her naked in real life for one reason or another. That's not such a big deal, really. If she freaks out, it probably wouldn't be because you saw her naked, but just that you found out her little secret.

Don't make up a petty lie like your friend found it. You could easily get caught in it, and the entire point of this is that you want her to trust you with her problems and issues so she might be able to work through them better.

Why worry about it....your going to be outsourced to India in the next few months anyway.

    SIDEBAR:

Funny how when I was in college, the promised us that telecommuting would be reality some day and we could all live in a log cabin on the side of a mountain in the middle of nowhere but still be employed as a computer programmer or something like that.....

But NO, all these years its been you have to sit in a cube where we can keep an eye on you no matter how much the technology is available.

Then comes outsourcing and suddenly its ok for some asshole on the other side of the world to do your job without even ever hearing their voice or seeing their face. All this time they could have let us work from home but they didn't they kept us under their thumbs.

That's fucked up....I want my log cabin.

    > If you come in unconscious, we'll all be paying. Your "rugged individualism" ends where my wallet begins.

If you can't figure out a way to check, then it's not my problem, asshole. My id will be on me, run my name through a check. Or fuck, bill me... I'm good for it, as long as you don't slap a "not in universal healthcare surcharge" on top of things. For that matter, take my fucking bank card out of my wallet and slide it through at the nurse's station.

    > What a surprise, another fucking leech on the system.

Never said I didn't intend to pay for my own healthcare. Just that I don't intend to be a part of your system.
